Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Lunra's workforce-management platform, website at lunraapp.com, and application at app.lunraapp.com (together, the "Service"), operated by Lunra ("Lunra," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you represent that you are authorized to bind that business.

Please read carefully. These Terms include important provisions about subscriptions and billing, disclaimers of warranties, and limitations of liability.

01 Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms as described in Section 13.

02 Accounts & eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

03 Subscriptions, trials & billing

Plans

The Service is offered on subscription plans (Starter, Growth, and Pro) billed monthly at the rates published on our website. Plan limits, such as the number of employees and locations, apply as described at sign-up.

Free trial

We may offer a 30-day free trial. No credit card is required to start a trial unless stated otherwise. If you do not subscribe before the trial ends, your access may be limited or suspended.

Billing & renewals

  • Paid subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled.
  • Fees are charged through our third-party payment processor and are stated exclusive of taxes, which may be added where applicable.
  • You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees due.

Refunds & cancellation

You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on your first payment. Except as expressly stated, fees are otherwise non-refundable.

04 Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation, including employment, wage-and-hour, and privacy laws.
  • Upload content you do not have the right to share, or that infringes the rights of others.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or disrupt its operation.
  • Reverse engineer, resell, or sublicense the Service except as permitted in writing.

05 Customer data & responsibilities

You retain ownership of the data you and your team submit to the Service ("Customer Data"). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and use Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Service. As an employer, you are responsible for:

  • Having a lawful basis to collect and process your employees' information, including any location data captured through GPS geofencing.
  • Providing your staff with required notices and obtaining any required consents.
  • The accuracy of payroll, scheduling, and compliance records you generate using the Service.

06 Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, logos, and content (excluding Customer Data), is owned by Lunra and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service during your subscription. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

07 Third-party services

The Service integrates with third-party tools, such as payroll exports and payment processing. Your use of those tools may be subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services. Integrations are provided "as available."

08 Term & termination

These Terms apply while you use the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay fees, or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; certain provisions (such as payment obligations, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) survive.

09 Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet every legal or regulatory requirement applicable to your business. You are responsible for confirming that your use complies with the laws that apply to you.

10 Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lunra and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim arose.

11 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lunra from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your Customer Data, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

12 Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Virginia, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

13 Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When changes are material, we will update the "Last updated" date and provide reasonable notice. Your continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
